LionVolt is a deep-tech startup working on a revolutionary battery using a 3D anode architecture that will boost battery performance, and by doing so bring an important contribution to achieving global net zero goals. Our Mission is to develop and scale 3D batteries to deliver the highest performance, fastest charging, safest, and most sustainable battery solutions. This is enabled by the combination of our novel 3D battery architecture, with unique coating processes for the various materials in the battery stack. Our dream is to start work on a Giga factory within five years, targeting the fast-growing battery industry.

Our multinational and highly diverse team consists of 40 people across multiple locations. Our innovation centre is based at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, a leading European innovation hub, and we have a cell manufacturing facility in Scotland.  In addition, we are expanding our manufacturing capacity with a new production line at the Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) in Eindhoven, giving us everything we need to realise our innovation. To support this exciting next step, we are looking for an Office Manager to help keep us organized across both locations.

 

Role overview

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our offices in the Netherlands. This role is essential to ensuring that our work environment remains productive, comfortable, and well-organized. You will be responsible for coordinating administrative duties, managing office supplies, and providing support to the leadership team and employees. This is also an exciting time to join, as we are building our offices at the BIC from scratch. This provides you with an unique opportunity to shape the layout and management of our future office spaces.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management: Manage office supply inventory, order office materials, and maintain relationships with office supply vendors.
  • Facilities Management: Ensure a clean, organized, and well-maintained workspace, coordinating maintenance, repairs, and upgrades when necessary.
  • Meeting & Event Coordination: Organize office meetings, team events, and handle logistics, including booking rooms and catering services.
  • Human Resources Support: Assist HR with onboarding new employees and other support tasks.
  • Office Administration: Oversee and support administrative duties to ensure the office operates smoothly.
  • Financial Support: Monitor and manage office-related expenses, including invoices, budgets, and payments.
  • Communication Liaison: Act as the first point of contact for office visitors, manage phone calls, and respond to general office inquiries.

 

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • High level of discretion in handling confidential information.

Desired Experience

  • Candidates with secondary vocational education or higher are welcome to apply
  • Previous experience as an office manager is a plus.
  • Passion for contributing to achieving global net zero targets.
