Electrolyte Technician

We are looking for an enthusiastic Electrolyte Technician, to strengthen our Lithium Battery team in Eindhoven.

LionVolt is a high-tech startup working on a revolutionary solid-state battery. We are headquartered in Eindhoven and have our battery manufacturing facility in Scotland. Our Mission is to develop and scale 3D solid-state batteries to deliver the highest performance, fastest charging, safest, and most sustainable battery solutions. This is enabled by the combination of our novel 3D battery architecture, with unique coating processes for the various materials in the battery stack. Our dream is to start work on a Giga factory within five years, targeting the fast-growing battery industry.

This is How you can contribute:

We are looking for a enthusiastic Electrolyte Technician to strengthen our Lithium Battery team in Eindhoven.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Synthesis and modification of new electrolyte materials and processes for next-gen batteries.
  • Electrolyte solution preparation and standard operation protocol validation.
  • Battery electrolyte physically, chemically and electrochemically characterization.
  • Perform battery cells assembly, testing, and post analysis.
  • Perform execution, data analysis, documentation and presentation. 

This is Who we are looking for:

  • You are a team player who never gives up and wants to be part of an exciting startup
  • You have a MBO/HBO degree in engineering, chemistry, materials, physics or related field
  • You have knowledge in physical chemistry
  • Experienced hands-on in a chemical- or materials laboratory
  • Having experience with electrochemistry or battery related topics
  • Team player, motivated person, capable and willing to learn new technologies and methods
  • You are eager to learn and adaptive in this fast changing environment
