Our Innovation Center is based at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, one of Europe’s leading innovation hubs, and we have a cell manufacturing facility in Scotland. We are also expanding with a new production line at Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) in Eindhoven, giving us everything we need to scale our innovation.

Your Mission

As LionVolt’s Project Manager, you will lead projects focused on developing customer-specific requirements within the domain of advanced battery technology. You will be the key link between our customers and internal teams, ensuring that tailored solutions meet technical, regulatory, and commercial expectations.

This role requires experience working in regulated sectors such as defense, automotive, or electric aviation. You will manage complex projects from concept to delivery, ensuring compliance, quality, and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead customer-specific battery development projects from initiation to completion.
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable project plans and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in sectors such as defense, automotive, and healthcare.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks; implement contingency plans where necessary.
  • Prepare and deliver progress reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and tools.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in a regulated industry (defense, automotive, Electric aviation or similar).
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with international customers, preferably in the U.S. market.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Solid knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, PMI, PRINCE2 or similar).
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
