LionVolt is a deep-tech startup working on a revolutionary battery using a 3D anode architecture that will boost battery performance and bring an important contribution to achieving global net zero goals. A step change in battery performance is in high demand from our application markets, and our architecture boosts energy density and charging rates without compromising safety and duration/life.
Our multinational and highly diverse team consists of 50 people across multiple locations. Our innovation centre is based at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, a leading European innovation hub, and we have a cell manufacturing facility in Scotland. In addition, we are expanding our manufacturing capacity with a new production line at the Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) in Eindhoven, giving us everything we need to realise our innovation.
Your Role
As an operator, you will play a key role in our production process, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality output. You will work with advanced equipment in a high-tech cleanroom/dry room environment, contributing to the development of our cutting-edge 3D Anode technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments on production machinery.
- Follow cleanroom protocols and safety procedures to maintain product integrity.
- Conduct quality checks and report any deviations to the team lead.
- Assist in process improvements and provide feedback for optimizing production.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: MBO-4 preferably in a technical field,
- Experience: Previous experience in a production environment; experience in a cleanroom and/or dry room is a strong plus. Experience with SOPs (Standard Operations Procedures)
- Skills: Hands-on technical skills, precision, and the ability to follow procedures.
- Mindset: Proactive, problem-solving, and eager to work in an innovative startup environment.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with process engineers and fellow operators.
- Flexibility: Ability to adopt new ways of working, and maybe in the future, working in shifts.
- Languages: English minimum B2 level, and Dutch is highly preferred—willingness to learn Dutch.
