Electrolyte Scientist

LionVolt WAH

Company description
LionVolt is a deep-tech startup working on a revolutionary battery using a 3D anode architecture that will boost battery performance, and by doing so bring an important contribution to achieving global net zero goals. A step change in battery performance is in high demand from our application markets, and our architecture boosts energy density and charging rates without compromising safety and duration/life.

Our multinational and highly diverse team consists of 40 people across multiple locations. Our innovation centre is based at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, a leading European innovation hub, and we have a cell manufacturing facility in Scotland.  In addition, we are expanding our manufacturing capacity with a new production line at the Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) in Eindhoven, giving us everything we need to realise our innovation. To support this exciting next step, we are looking for an production lead to take charge of our brand new production location.

Role overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Electrolyte Scientist to join our team, focusing on the development of advanced electrolytes for lithium metal batteries. The position is based at our research facility, where the scientist will contribute to the formulation, testing, and optimization of novel electrolytes with the LionVolt Electrolyte Team at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven. The ideal candidate will require a hands-on approach to experimentation, critical data analysis, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
