This is how you can contribute

We are looking for a commercially driven and technically credible Business Development and Sales Lead to build LionVolt’s position in the rapidly developing drone and robotics markets and convert market opportunities into sustainable revenue growth.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will take commercial ownership of these markets, from managing inbound enquiries and developing strategic target accounts to customer evaluations, negotiations, design-ins and sales.

You will work closely with drone and robotics OEMs, battery pack integrators, autonomous-system manufacturers and technology partners across Europe. Your ability to understand customer applications and translate LionVolt’s cell performance into clear customer value will be essential to your success.

The responsibilities

  • Take commercial ownership of LionVolt’s drone and robotics markets, managing opportunities from first contact through qualification, technical evaluation, negotiation and sale.
  • Manage and qualify inbound enquiries, ensuring fast, professional and commercially focused follow-up.
  • Proactively identify and develop target accounts across commercial and professional drones, robotics and autonomous systems.
  • Build strong relationships with OEMs, battery pack manufacturers, system integrators, operators and strategic technology partners.
  • Develop compelling customer value propositions connecting LionVolt’s battery technology to improvements in endurance, payload, charging, lifecycle and overall platform performance.
  • Coordinate technical evaluations, sample programmes and customer testing, converting successful evaluations into design-ins and production opportunities.
  • Lead commercial proposals, pricing discussions, negotiations, volume forecasts and supply agreements.
  • Represent LionVolt at relevant international trade shows, conferences, demonstrations and industry events and convert these activities into qualified commercial opportunities.
  • Work closely with product, application engineering, cell engineering and operations teams to translate customer requirements into technically credible and commercially viable solutions.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, accurate forecasts and strategic account plans within the CRM.

We are looking for

  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in business development, technical sales or key-account management within batteries, drones, robotics, aerospace, mobility, electronics or another advanced-technology environment.
  • A demonstrated track record of developing qualified pipeline and converting technically complex opportunities into commercial business.
  • Experience managing customer opportunities throughout the complete sales cycle, from initial enquiry and technical evaluation through commercial negotiation and close.
  • Strong commercial judgement, negotiation skills and a structured approach to opportunity qualification.
  • Sufficient technical understanding to confidently discuss battery cell performance, customer duty cycles, pack integration and system-level trade-offs with engineering and procurement teams.
  • A degree or relevant qualification in engineering, science, business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30–50% across Europe and international markets.

Experience within the drone, robotics, autonomous-systems or battery ecosystem would be a strong advantage. Knowledge of lithium cell technology, pack architecture, charging and thermal management, or experience selling components that require customer qualification and design-in, is also highly desirable.

Most importantly, we are looking for an entrepreneurial and results-driven team player who combines commercial drive with technical curiosity, enjoys opening new markets and takes ownership from first customer contact all the way through to revenue.

We offer you

A challenging and international environment at the forefront of battery technology, with the opportunity to play a key role in building LionVolt’s commercial position in two fast-growing technology markets.

You will work directly with senior leadership and our technical teams, engaging with innovative companies developing the next generation of drones, robotics and autonomous platforms. This is your opportunity to turn breakthrough battery innovation into customer applications and meaningful commercial growth.
